Qualification: Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent

Experience: 3-5 years’ Experience in Supply Chain Management

5-8 years’ experience in DSP, Warehousing and Last-mile logistics with a high-quality consumer centric mindset (experienced preferably in FMCG)

Position Summary

Perfection is at the heart of what we do, and our people are always looking for the next big idea to cement our status. We are now looking for a Factory Supply Chain Manager to be based in Babelegi.

In this role you will be responsible for manage, guide, and develop all Supply Chain functions at plant to meet production and business needs at required performance levels and at optimized costs.

A day in the life of a Factory Supply Chain Manager:

Drive the supply chain.

 

  • Develop and implement the distribution network strategy for the market.
  • Develop operational excellence in Distribution & Fulfillment Management.
  • Develop new distribution services in close collaboration with B2C and B2B and Marketing.

Third Party Management

 

  • Effectively manage Third Party Providers and Service Level Agreements by monitoring interactions and comparing actual performance with pre-defined expectations, identifying potential problems, and determining appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure quality.
  • Capitalize on international networks to achieve specific business objectives within budget.
  • Drive improvement and innovation development opportunities in the services delivered by Third Party Providers and collaborate effectively with Third Party Providers to realize said improvement or innovation.

Management Team Responsibilities

 

  • Drive the organization’s business results by making tactical and operational decisions by building the department in a sustainable way.
  • Define and drive the right initiative to achieve business results.
  • Support the Director in making optimal investments and decisions in the OP process for both CAPEX and OPEX.

People & Performance Management

  • Attract and retain talent, develop the personal effectiveness of employees by regular coaching and implementation of learning activities.
  • Build a strong team where team members collaborate effectively and understand their shared goals and purpose.
  • Set individual performance goals that provide a clear line of sight to organizational priorities and monitor progress towards achievement of goals by use of the PDP methodology.

What will make you successful?

 

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ Experience in Supply Chain Management

5-8 years’ Experience in DSP, Warehousing and Last-mile logistics with a high-quality consumer centric mindset (experienced preferably in a high end luxury brand or FMCG)

  • Experienced people manager
  • Experienced and Certified in LEAN Six Sigma methodology.
  • Experience in 3rd Party Management
  • Experience in managing complex projects.

Experience with ERP and WMS systems. Microsoft Dynamics working experience advantageous
