About The Role

We are looking for a talented Make up artist to join our Areej team in Bloomingdales – Kuwait. Our Makeup artists are responsible for delivering a premium level of makeup artistry to customers in store and during promotions & events.

What you will be doing?

 

• Welcome customers coming in for a makeover, identify their needs, recommend and demonstrate appropriate products, whilst carrying out the makeover.
• Recommend appropriate link products to promote cross selling and increase overall sales
• Follow up with regular customers with respect to make up requirements and promote repeat sales.
• Implement new techniques of make up as per the attended training courses conducted by appropriate suppliers on makeup and skincare products and product application.
• Always maintain immaculate standards of the Beauty room/makeup studio.
• Represent Beauty Area in sponsored events as makeup artist example – Fashion shows to gain publicity and brand awareness.
• Support the store staff during in store promotions to drive sales performance and enhance the brand image.

About You

• You will be educated to High School Certification Level/ “O” Levels with additional qualifications in make-up artistry / cosmetology
• You will have 1-2 years of experience as a make up artist.
• You will have Levels 2 & 3 certification of Beauty Academy
