Job title: Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). You will work closely with the logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to the driver and sales representative and maintain accurate stock records.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising the receipt of incoming shipments of fast-moving consumer products and verifying their accuracy against purchase orders.
2. Ensuring the proper storage and organization of goods inside warehouses, and improving space utilization.
3. Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular inventory counts and resolving discrepancies.
4. Prepare orders for dispatch, including selecting, packing, and labeling items correctly.
5. Coordinate with logistics service providers to schedule deliveries and ensure timely shipment of orders.
6. Handle returns and exchanges efficiently, following company procedures and guidelines.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse while adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times.
8. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
9. Assist in implementing inventory management systems and process improvements.
10. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding warehouse operations and issues.
requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent; Additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
-Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
– Familiarity with inventory management programs and systems.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
– Flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
