About this role

Cognira is seeking a passionate and creative copywriter. This team member has excellent writing and research skills to help support the fast-growing marketing team. Our Copywriter will write and edit copies for a variety of projects (including web, mobile, video, social media, and print), work closely with the strategy and design teams to brainstorm ideas, and help set initiatives and goals.

While this role will work right alongside the Marketing Strategist, it is important that our copywriter has the ability to drive their own projects and communicate independently with various departments at Cognira.

What you will do

• Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets the goals of the marketing strategy.
• Conduct high-quality research and interviews.
• Utilize SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
• Create copy that reflects Cognira’s brand identity and ensures consistency across all communication.
• Work with the marketing team and external resources to create and brainstorm marketing collateral (media, social, digital).
• Monitor industry trends (retail, software etc.) and ensure our copy is aligned with the relevant market research.
• Help set goals and work to hit them with the marketing team.

We would love to hear from you if

• You have a BA/BS or equivalent. Concentration in Marketing, English, or Communication is preferred.
• You’ve got 2+ years of marketing or communication experience.
• You’re a creative person and have a collaborative spirit.
• You’ve got excellent writing skills & strong research skills.
• You had a previous experience working with social media advertising (Linkedin ads), Email campaigns, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords (preferred).
• You’re looking for a full-time position.
