Key Accountabilities

Description

Policies, Processes & Procedures

Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Day-to-day Operations  Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Job Specific Accountabilities

 

  • Working on Sales Operations functions ranging from getting orders from customers, communicating them with internal departments in the Supply Chain and Finance such as Planning, budgeting. Also, checking stock that can be shipped to different markets with and communicating to get exceptions if needed from market managers. In addition, the clean up for outstanding orders and evaluating the level of customer service satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the Sales function to validate the demand forecasts in the developed demand plans, and take the necessary actions to avoid any shortages or redundancy in inventory.
  • Generating accurate and reliable shipping plans .
  • Regularly checking the availability of finished goods in the warehouses to be taken into consideration when preparing the demand plans and shipping plans.
  • Collaborating with the Sales function to validate the demand forecasts in the developed demand plans, and take the necessary actions to avoid any shortages or redundancy in inventory.
  • Coordinating with the Shipping function in setting the shipping plan periodically in order to achieve high customer service levels.
  • Analyzing weekly KPIs report to identify the required improvements to the processes of the sales operation function.
  • Assigning work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow, reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures, and directing such activities to serve the function goals and plans.
  • Maintaining an active communication channel with the Sales function to ensure a smooth flow of the information required to establish and update the supply plan.
  • Communicating with the Warehouse function to obtain information on the availability of finished goods to use them as an input in the demand plans.

Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Reporting

Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of the supply chain department to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Relevant field.

Minimum Experience

0-3 years relevant experience.
