Role Description

The Junior Sous Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. The Junior Sous Chef will also be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, and inventory management. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kuwait City Metropolitan Area.

Qualifications

Excellent culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and portioning

Excellent knowledge in Healthy food preparation techniques

Passionate about creating interesting recipes for kids

Strong leadership and management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols

Knowledge of inventory management best practices

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field

Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus

Local candidiates in Kuwait only
