Field Service Specialist – Generator (Kuwaiti Nationals)
About the job
Role:
Performs complexand technically demanding hands-on work on-site in a specialized area of FieldService for Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators. Effectively identifiesproblems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situationswhere the problem is more difficult and complex.
What are myresponsibilities?
- Performs complex, specialized hands-on tasks on turbine and/or generatorequipment during new installation, overhaul, repair, or modification projectsin accordance with Siemens Energy work procedures.
- Completes documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance andrepair work, and failures.
- Performs complex service calls and interfaces with customer personnel toprovide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
- Performs assessment of equipment condition and applies repair orimprovement measures based on standard catalogue of corrective measures.
- Participates in responding to semi-complex service calls.
Eligibility:
- Kuwaiti national
- Engineering Degree or Diploma holder (Electrical preferred) from recognizeduniversity
- Fresh Graduate or 1 to 2 years maintenance experience on prime movers inPower Station or Oil & Gas
- Willingness to work in shifts, frequent travelling and working abroad asnecessary
- Advanced knowledge of English written and spoken
- Willing to work in multi-cultural teams
- Result driven, Team Player & self-motivated
You will be trained for thespecialized tasks by providing theory and practical classroom and on-the jobtrainings followed by certification program.
