The King Hussein Foundation/ Queen Noor Foundation; a national, non-governmental organization (NGO) is seeking qualified candidates to fill in the position of Information Technology Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Install, configure, and manage desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals.
· Install and configure applications and operating system software and upgrades.
· Manage and monitor servers including installation, configuration, updates, security patches, for optimal performance and security.
· Resolve LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems as well as setting up new users and workstations with access to intranet.
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware and software issues.
· Ensure data safety by setting up backups and recovery plans.
· Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
· Provide IT support (basic help desk and in-depth technical support).
· Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to ensure effective procurement, installation, and support for IT solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
– BSc/BA in in Information Technology (CS, CIS) or other related field
– 2 years minimum relevant experience, knowledgeable in network administration, systems administration, MS Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft/Office 365, firewall management (preferably Fortinet), and backup solution management (preferably Veeam).
