This position will report directly to the Dean of the College of Pharmacy

Job Description, Duties, And Responsibilities

 

• Set up equipment and material for pharmacy lab courses as per the faculty and lab instructor’s instructions.
• Set up equipment and materials for the lab sessions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of the lab inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Arrange purchase orders for lab materials and supplies and the lab budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of all lab protocols, procedures, and safety rules.
• Assist in research activities at the college.
• Attend technical and lab safety trainings as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Pharmacy or Biomedical sciences-related domain from a reputable college/university. (Note: Applicants with a MS or PhD will be considered overqualified for this position.)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a lab, hospital, college, or university setting.
• Experience working with animals will be highly considered.
• Familiarity with lab safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work and coordinate with faculty and other lab instructors as members of a team.
• Ability to interact effectively with students, supervise and guide them in the lab.
• Strong computer skills, English communication skills, and good time management skills.
