AlSuweidi Engineering Consultants Bureau L.L.C is seeking to hire Lead Structural Engineer
Job Location: United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities:
• Preparing Structural detail drawings for obtaining necessary permits and floating tenders in accordance with time schedules approved for projects.
• Controlling quality of all products of design phase, coordinating and cooperating technically with other trades and sections to ensure achieving project requirements.
• Technically reviewing and approving all drawings and documents issued Structural Department.
• Providing design review of all work performed by team members including Contractor’s submittals.
• Structural analysis and design using one or more of structural program.
• Full understanding of the project requirements concerning time and cost and quality and approving work hours and delivery dates proposed for projects.
• Allocating the engineers to projects and the time they spend at each project.
• Supervising and evaluating the performance and work of engineers and draftsmen, and proposing training for them if required.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with 10-18 years’ post graduate on work experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Structural Lead for Design and supervision in UAE, or projects in UAE
• Minimum 7 years experience in the UAE and consultancy companies.
• Professional in Revit & AutoCAD
• Working knowledge in the use of at the structural design software (FEM), at least ETABS,SAFE, SAP.
• Experience on multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Well-versed with structural calculation for different load cases Static and dynamic analysis.
• Familiar with industry-standard codes ACI, IBC, BSI, etc.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in preparing reports and calculations.
• Fully aware of all administrative regulations and their updates
