The data analyst plays a central role in advocating data methodologies to functional analysts and stakeholders across the company. this position involves close collaboration with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product development, within a professional, international, and entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities:

– access and manipulate large datasets using sql, python, and similar tools.

– design and develop bi dashboards using tools like sisense, tableau, or powerbi.

– assist in defining kpis and driving data governance through standardization and communication.

– create documentation and presentations for management under senior staff supervision.

– develop analysis and reporting capabilities, monitoring performance and quality control plans for improvements.

– conduct queries, report writing, and presentation of findings.

– research and validate entity data using internal and external sources.

– analyze, specify, test, and implement interfaces, workflow solutions, and reference data solutions.

– participate in the design, implementation, and interpretation of experiments/trials for strategy refinement.

– ensure data quality and timely delivery of reports for business use.

– participate in analytics & reporting training sessions to promote data awareness across the organization.

– work autonomously without supervision.

Qualifications:

– bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field (master’s degree is a plus).

– 2+ years of work experience in analytics, preferably in internet/e-commerce companies.

– proficiency in sql and microsoft excel.

– skills in python, r, or similar tools are advantageous.

– knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages (e.g., excel, spss, sas).

– strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

– attention to detail.

– written and verbal proficiency in english.
