JOB TITLE

L&D Manager | MAF Retail | Jordan HO

ROLE SUMMARY

Role Purpose: The Training Manager is responsible for creating and implementing training programs. The role holder is also responsible for identifying training and development needs within MAF Retail through job analysis, performance appraisals and regular consultation with department heads and Human Capital Managers.

ROLE PROFILE

• Plan, develop and provide training and staff development programs, using methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences and workshops
• Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
• Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement
• Develop, manage and supervise the training and development needs
• Develop training materials and conduct event follow-up activities
• Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
• Communicate with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors
• Lead the training needs analysis workshops and to recommend training and development plans ensuring alignment to business objectives

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication or Public Relations
• 5-10 years of experience as a Training/L&D Manager, 1+ years’ experience in retail
• Previous hands on experience with Learning & Development content creation
• Proven track record of training delivery to different clusters of employees
• Fluency in English language is a must, and high communication and soft skills
• Hands on experience with culture transformation and talent management
