Kohler – Area Sales Manager – Nepal & Bhutan

About the job

SAM – ASM – East cluster (Nepal & Bhutan)

The ideal candidate should have an exceptional track record of working in an analytical environment, to be comfortable with data queries and analysis, competitive analysis, working in ambiguity, ability to look for and drive process improvements and should have a strong bias toward data driven analysis and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other.

He should be comfortable in travelling out of India and should be able to work in unfamiliar geographies.

The candidate should have worked in these markets and have a strong hold on know-how of retail/projects market.

Business Planning

  • Provide inputs on sales and business plans for retail & project Businesses.
  • Support the formulation of annual business & operating plan for the Project & retail business by providing both forecast and inputs on the pipelines.
  • Mapping of potential, wins & losses along with implementation of share gain/ hold share strategy for key Builder and hospitality accounts
  • Monitor and track achievement of different targets set for the year.

Pre Sales leading to Purchase order & Margin optimization

  • Specifications, Quotes, Negotiation & PO, while ensuring margins
  • Recurring product & brand presentation within house design teams & / or designated Interior design houses through country consultant.
  • Successful specification of KOHLER in all high value retail requirements and projects.
  • Quoting best product mix & negotiation of purchase order involving relevant stake holders from developer & Kohler followed by finalization of PO with mutually agreed terms.
  • Ensure profitable business relationship with the accounts, IDs and partners.

Strategic Sales planning

  • Provide inputs in formulating the strategic direction for effectively driving retail sales, project sales and implementing key account management in the area.
  • Development of a roadmap and strategic initiatives to achieve the business targets.
  • Road map to crack new accounts and to expand retail channel in the designated markets.
  • Mapping & evolving buying/ purchase behavior of the account.

Relationship building & maintenance

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing accounts to keep a track of their business plans
  • Establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support & delivery
  • Build strong connect with architects, plumbers, interior designers, project consultants etc.

Sales execution – Ensure site wise coordination and Manage dealers

  • Providing rolling forecast on product requirement of retail business and project business at project level.
  • Appointment / Management of dealers and their liaison with the customer, including deliveries, payment, claims, etc.

Internal and External Operations

  • Attend and participate in company sales meetings and trade or industry meetings, shows, conventions to increase knowledge of Kohler products & spread awareness of the same
  • Participate in cluster review meetings.
  • Maintain an active database of your LKAs to facilitate information-based decision making.

Cross functional contact matrix

 

  • Involving Kohler cross-functional stakeholders with accounts at designated frequency.
