Quality Manager – Cosmetics / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Amman – Jordan)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our thriving cosmetics manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our commitment to producing high-quality cosmetics that meet regulatory standards. Knowledge and experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) are essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
1.Quality Assurance and Control:
- Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes following GMP guidelines.
- Establish and maintain effective quality control measures throughout the cosmetics manufacturing process.
2.Regulatory Compliance (GMP):
- Stay informed about the latest GMP guidelines and ensure compliance within the cosmetics manufacturing environment in Jordan.
- Implement and monitor processes to adhere to local and international regulatory requirements.
3.Product Testing and Analysis:
- Oversee the testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Interpret test results and implement corrective actions as per GMP standards.
4.Documentation and Record Keeping (GMP):

- Update and create documentation such as SOPs and quality manuals in compliance with GMP standards.
5.Supplier Quality Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials, adhering to GMP principles.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
6.Continuous Improvement (GMP):
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in quality management processes in alignment with GMP principles.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for enhancement and GMP compliance.
7.Training and Development:
- Provide training to production personnel on quality control procedures, emphasizing GMP guidelines.
- Keep the team informed about changes in GMP regulations and industry best practices.
8.Customer Complaint Handling:
- Develop and implement procedures for handling customer complaints and product returns in accordance with GMP standards.
- Investigate and address customer complaints promptly and in compliance with GMP principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Chemical Engineering, or any relative.).
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the cosmetics or Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP principles and cosmetics regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with Jordanian regulations in the cosmetics industry is advantageous.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a plus.
