Kitchen Manager
About the job
What’s on your plate?
- Train kitchen staff in specific stations, and cross-train as necessary
- Oversee the application, orientation, and training process of new kitchen users
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure there are always enough workers to meet the demand, particularly for the lunch rush
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory
- Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
- Ensure smooth operations between different kitchen users and solve potential conflict between users
- Respond personally to users’ complaints
- Develop HACCP documentation
- Submit operations report and other required documentation by Country Manger
- Manage the stock area
- Ensure kitchen operations is in line with municipality and other department’s requirements and engage adequately with officials when visiting the Kitchen
- Collaborate with the Operations Director to implement corrective actions in case of incidents, operational improvement initiatives, or higher management suggestions

- 6+ years in Kitchen management
- Familiarity with a broad range of kitchen equipment and general facilities management
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel,
- Strong communication skills.
- Open to feedback and personal and professional improvement
- Demonstrates punctuality, reliability, and sound judgement
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications/certifications
- HAACP certification
- QC food safety training or degree preferred
