About the job

The Office of Communications has an opening for the position of Web Master, above grade 12. Since this provides an opportunity for promotion from within, please circulate this information and/or post it in your area of jurisdiction so that those interested and having the minimum qualifications may apply not later than December 22, 2023.

I. Basic Functions:

Monitors and oversees content updates to AUBMC’s website on Microsoft SharePoint Content Management System (CMS). Ensures compatibility of textual and graphic elements within website. Browses site regularly and monitors consistency of style, format and search engine friendly. Responds to queries regarding technical and content-related issues with website and provides suitable responses, implements necessary solutions and conducts related training.

II. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering with at least 5 years of experience in website management.

Strong understanding of the internet environment, editorial issues and social media.

Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint CMS, HTML5, CSS3 and experience. with web development is a plus.

Familiarity with university procedures and programs.

Excellent knowledge of English.
