Job Description

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer with expertise in networking and security to lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of our clients’ network environments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our clients’ networks, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network/Security Assessment, Design and Implementation:

· Conduct network/security assessments to identify bottlenecks, security gaps and potential threats.

· Collaborate with clients to understand their network/security requirements and design scalable and secure network architectures.

· Lead network implementation projects, including configuring networking components and security solutions.

· Optimize network/security performance and troubleshoot connectivity/performance issues.

· Stay updated with the latest network/security technologies and threats to ensure network security best practices are followed.

2. Network Monitoring Maintenance and Management:

· Implement network monitoring tools and establish proactive network monitoring processes.

· Respond to network incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues.

· Perform Regular maintenance visits to ensure network/security operations are healthy to overcome any potential future issues.

3. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

· Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members as needed.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

· Create comprehensive documentation for network configurations, security policies, and incident reports.

· Prepare regular reports on network performance, security posture, and recommendations for improvements.
