- Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage localization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including translators, linguists, developers, and content creators, to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings to communicate project goals, requirements, and timelines to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
- Manage localization budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to allocated resources.
- Coordinate translation and review processes, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to localization standards, glossaries, and style guides.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and proactively address any challenges that arise during project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the localization process.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.
Skills And Qualifications
- 1:3 Yrs of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Translation, Localization, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a localization or internationalization context.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as project management software, localization tools, and content management systems.
- Knowledge of localization best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and address project risks and issues.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
