Financial Analyst Internship

Melanion Capital is a Paris-based hedge fund specialized in a wide range of alternative investment strategies, with a strong focus on quantitative and derivatives expertise. Following the launch of investment funds focused on dividend futures, volatility dispersion strategies, and the development of seeding programs for new asset managers, Melanion established its Digital Asset Business in 2020 and issued the world’s first Bitcoin Equities ETF, bridging the gap between digital and traditional finance to make investments in the Bitcoin and crypto ecosystem accessible to all.
We are looking for a fresh graduate to join the team as a Financial Analyst intern starting at the earliest possible (for 1 year). The candidate would be closely working with the Portfolio Managers and be involved in their day-to-day operations.
Daily duties will include:
• Providing analytical support & market research to Portfolio Managers
• Building and maintaining trading tools, monitors and informational databases

• Research, evaluate, and recommend investment ideas that meet investment objectives
It’s a unique opportunity to join a rising hedge fund and closely work with the portfolio managers, while discovering a very promising asset class on which Melanion Capital is an expert: Dividend Futures.
Profile:
• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a Tier 1 Business school or a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Candidates must have a financial background.
• Candidates must be proficient in Excel.
• Knowing VBA and Bloomberg is a plus.
• Motivation is a must!
