Job Title: Assistant Manager Finance

Location: SITE, Karachi

Client Details: Logistics & Distribution

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Finance for our client in the Logistics & Distribution industry. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance and at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible for financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute financial duties and projects of the company.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required by regulatory authorities.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
Support the annual audit process and liaise with internal and external auditors
Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions
Supervise a team of finance professionals
Estimate short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets
Compile financial reports and supervise month-end processes
Draft procurement processes and sign off on purchase orders
Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department
Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments
Provide training to staff members regarding financial processes

Requirements:

CA/ACCA qualification with 2 to 3 years of experience in general accounting and taxation
Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards, corporate Laws and Tax Laws
Ability to supervise Fixed Asset Register, Payable Process, and Intercompany Balances
Ability to liaise with external and internal auditors
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
