BAT PAKISTAN IS LOOKING FOR A MAINTENANCE OFFICER

SENIORITY LEVEL Maintenance officer

FUNCTION Operations

LOCATION Akora Khattak

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible to maximising equipment availability through preferred maintenance program as per business guiding principles. And, continuously improving maintenance systems in line with IWS phase progression.

Reports to Maintenance Coordinator

Reporting Level Non-management

Geographic Scope Pakistan

What You Will Be Accountable For

Ensuring that machinery, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime
Diagnosing faults and developing & deploying countermeasures to eliminate losses
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
Establishing different maintenance procedures and protocols
Training staff on equipment operating and maintenance procedures
Responding to major equipment breakdowns
Setting and tracking maintenance KPIs
Playing an active role in helping the organization set up and execute preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance or any other
preferred maintenance program
An ability to work well under pressure
Relevant technical knowledge

Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

DAE mechanical with at least 2-3 years of experience in production machinery maintenance, troubleshooting and team upskilling
Should be self-motivated and demonstrate teamwork to lead a team of contractual as well as unionized employees with true root causing of recurring losses and timely defect handling and attending breakdowns with in-depth analysis.
Has good knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety, Factory Operations skills, engineering and administrative controls
Has good verbal and written communication skills
Has good training and presentation skills in imparting loss linked training to shop floor employees in terms of developing their capability building
