JOB TITLE

System Admin – IT Support | MAF Retail | Head Office Jordan

Role Summary

The System Admin is responsible for designing and overseeing local area networks, wide area networks, and network segments. The role holder is also responsible for maintaining the operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, and employee computers & to be familiar with windows servers, operating system, Data backup, and mobility support.

ROLE PROFILE

 

• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
• Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
• Maintain network servers such as file servers, and VPN gateways
• Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together
• Maintain network and system security & Conduct the system testing and provide support after implementation
• Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems

Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in IT field
• MCSA & A+ are preferred
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Collecting and analyzing data
• Business communication and presentation skills
