Job Description

 

• Inspect returned articles for damages or missing hardware or parts & pieces and determine destination for products: Back To Stock, As-Is, spare parts, trash, etc.
• Replace, repackage and inventory hardware and spare part pieces by using parts inventory
• Use the daily assembly recording sheets to register articles assembled, articles repacked and keep accurate record of the return articles.
• Assemble, label and price merchandise for AS-IS according to guidelines and under supervision of group leader
• Confirm delivery of Back-to-stock articles to HFB leader
• Contribute to the recovery and quality work in the store to prevent unnecessary costs to assets and give products a second chance while keeping bottom line profit and sustainability in mind.
• Assist customers in the AS IS area as needed
• Act upon customer complaints about product safety and /or quality
• Segregate waste and disposable destructed articles
• Work towards continuous optimization of working methods, processes and tools.
• Work proactively across functions and support potential improvements regarding the quality associated with IKEA products.
• Ensure an organized, safe environment in the recovery area, AS-IS room and holding area and ensure holding area is create from all article

Qualifications

• Good English communication skills.
• Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus.
• Experience working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
• Ability to take personal initiatives and open to change with a high level of flexibility.
• Ability to prioritize and organize personal work duties to make the most efficient use of time available.
• Excellent attention to detail and cost-consciousness.
