Summary:

BI Developer to be responsible for the upkeep and development of data warehouse to support our business decision-making. The BI Developer builds and maintains a data warehouse design to generate reports on financial and market intelligence to aid in business performance monitoring and business decision making. A successful BI Developer has a strong working knowledge of business trends and can read and analyze product, market, and share trends. You should have strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyzing product, market, and share trends to build data warehouse.
• Translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Developing reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making.
• Using data warehouse to generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring.
• Maintaining data analytics platforms.
• Build needed ETL to load data from source systems into data warehouse.
• Generating and delivering quality reports to customers and performing quality assurance checks on reports.
• Write technical documentation on developed data warehouse objects.

SkillsSkills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or any IT related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in same field.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong and proven knowledge in SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Strong and proven knowledge in Power BI.
• Knowledge in SQL Server Analysis Services.
• Knowledge in AWS Redshift, Glue, Matillion, Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members.
• Develops strong working relationships.
• Attention to detail.

EducationComputer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or any IT related field.
