About Us

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? Crowne Plaza Bahrain is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Rooms Manager to join our esteemed team. As the Rooms Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the front office, concierge, housekeeping, and laundry operations, while driving guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and adherence to IHG standards and procedures.

Your day to day

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the front office, concierge, housekeeping, and laundry departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Foster a guest-centric culture by implementing strategies to enhance guest experiences, handle complaints effectively, and drive guest engagement initiatives.
  • Train and develop colleagues, empowering them to deliver personalized service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensure the implementation of IHG standards and procedures across all rooms division departments, including cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction metrics, cleanliness scores, and IHG loyalty enrollment and recognition statistics, taking proactive measures to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales and revenue management teams to drive revenue through up-selling techniques, room inventory management, and yield management strategies.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination for the benefit of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor effective systems for inventory control, procurement, and cost management within the rooms division.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market demands to identify opportunities for revenue growth and service enhancements.

What We Need From You

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in managing front office, concierge, housekeeping, and laundry operations within a luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven track record in driving guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and up-selling techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of IHG standards and procedures, along with a commitment to implementing and maintaining them.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technology.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
