Are you a US Navy Maintenance Planning, and Execution professional with 10 – 15 years of supervisory maintenance experience? Be our next Detachment Engineer for SURFMEPP in Manama, Bahrain. (Relocation Assistance is available for the position)
As a Detachment Engineer, You Will
- Provide critical support in protecting our country.

A Week In The Life Of a Detachment Engineer
- Responsible for generating and tracking execution of Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWPs).
- Coordinate execution of Mandatory Technical Requirements with Regional Maintenance Center Project Managers and Assessment Directors.
- Conduct Ship visits to validate MTR’s
- Support the development of SURFMEPP processes and products and ensure alignment with higher-level guidance directed by the government,
- Act as the primary interface with TYCOM Port Engineer in support of Availability Work Package planning for assigned ships.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Supervisory experience in management or supervisory roles at a Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Repair, and Conversion command, Regional Maintenance Center, U.S. Navy Central Planning Activity, U.S. Navy Planning Yard Activity, or a Planning for Engineering and Repair Activity.
- Experience using (Validation, Screening and Brokering (VSB), FTS, 3M, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD ) Avanced Industrial Management (AIM) to plan, track and review maintenance and maintenance scheduling.
- Knowledgeable in conducting work specification or technical review in planning and execution of depot level maintenance.
- Active Secret Clearance.
