Business Development Representative – Pretoria
Responsibilities
- Achieve maximum Revenue profitability, growth and Channel penetration within an assigned territory and/or Market segment including but not limited to Wholesale and Forecourts.
- Be the direct contact for Customers and secure new business opportunities.
- Visit all Customers as per Newspage schedule to grow Customers and Implement/execute the Deliverables.
- Communicate to and educate all customers in Category Management and systems to become the food and beverage category Champion within area of operation.
- Lead forward share management, Planogram execution & Adhoc Space Drives.
- Implementation of Golden Store (KPI) – EDGE in Every Outlet.
- Liaise with external Merchandising services to achieve the most effective merchandising practices/principles & SLA’s.
Qualifications
- A completed 3-year Diploma/Degree qualification preferably in a Commercial field.
- Driver’s License
- The ideal candidate should bring with them strong networking sales background and significant connections in Sales Arena.
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievements.
- Self-starter who can successfully work both independently and as part of a team.
- Integrity, Intelligence, “I can do it” attitude.
- Strong motivation for closing business and meeting sales targets.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Outstanding presentation skills required.
- Experience with direct selling is preferred.
- At least 5 years “current” experience in Sales/Business Development Role in the Industry.
- A deep understanding of Marketing principles and great negotiation skills.
