Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Amman, Jordan

We are looking for Internal Auditor to join our team.

Responsibilities and duties:

– Identify and assess potential risks within the organization and its operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

– participate in developing a comprehensive audit plans, including scope, objectives, and methodology, perform audit procedures, review financial records, systems, policies, and processes to assess effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.

– Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in mitigating risks, safeguarding assets, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.

– Identify gaps, deficiencies, and areas for improvement in internal controls, risk management, and operational processes and provide recommendations for enhancing controls and minimizing risks.

– Investigate allegations of financial improprieties or fraudulent activities, gather evidence, analyze data, interview relevant parties, and present findings to Audit manager/ management and recommend actions for remediation and prevention of such incidents.

– Review compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and standards to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, ethical guidelines, and operational procedures.

– Assess the efficiency, effectiveness, and economy of specific processes, activities, or functions, provide insights into areas where improvements can be made to optimize resource allocation and promote better performance.

– Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans for management, maintain accurate and organized audit documentation, including work papers, supporting evidence, and follow-up actions.
