Description

Our client, a global software and technology company providing leading risk analytics products and services for the financial services industry worldwide, is looking for a Business Analyst – Credit Lifecycle Management.

The company has over 200 clients, 350 employees and offices in 25 countries. It is an American multinational financial technology company that provides software and software as a service to the financial services industry. The company has offices globally including the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia and specializes in specific fintech markets, such as fund administration, wealth management accounting and insurance and pension funds.

The Role

The team comprises integration engineers, Business Analysts, Financial Professionals (Financial engineers), and post-implementation consultants, providing a balance of technical IT and financial modelling expertise.

This role will involve the provision of support and consultancy in Credit Lifecycle Management domain to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice, guidance, and quality of service.

Responsibilities

Ensure successful implementations and client outcomes, leveraging best practices, understanding of relevant regulations, client scope and policies, and working closely with Services implementation members and other departments such as Offering Management and Development.

• Implement, research, and consult on Credit Lifecycle Management, workflow design and parameterization, risk modeling and validation activities.
• Provide consulting services to clients, models, processes, applications, and reports focused on credit risk concepts, methodologies.
• Research and generate workflows and risk models to meet client requirements in accordance with industry standards and requirements.
• Assists clients with workflow and risk modeling design, and verification during software implementation to achieve project objectives.
• Provide detailed use cases and feedback to product management for solution enhancements covering credit lifecycle domains, accounting for client specific requirements.
• Document and support product configurations in accordance with clients’ requirements and component capabilities.
• Configure input data mapping for reporting / aggregation components, and design / build custom configuration and logic, and report views to display various portfolio level measures utilizing hierarchies, multiple dimensions, filters / aggregation keys.
• Document business requirements, data mapping and data definitions, system designs, configuration specs, calculation logic, use-cases, client processes, and workflows and financial specifications.
• Recommend and leverage best practices during the implementation of Credit Lifecycle Management solution.
• Support pre and post-sales activities by providing financial/actuarial/technical support materials and demos for clients.

Requirements

• Has conceptual and applied knowledge and experience in credit lifecycle management and risk management functions, specifically on loan origination and relevant processes. Good understanding of credit business within a bank including limit management functions.
• Applies professional knowledge related to credit lifecycle to workflow design, credit risk modelling and limit management.
• Strong knowledge of structured query languages, XML, Unix, data models, and data transformation routines. Hands-on experience in one of these tools is preferred – SQL, Unix / Scripting skills, Python, Matlab / C / C++ (would be an advantage).
• Has minimum of 5 years of experience implementing or vendor consulting experience in Credit Lifecycle Management domain.
• University degree in the field of Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Science, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline.
