The Opportunity

This is a key position supporting the Finance team on the Record to Report side.

The RTR Specialist will be responsible for performing General Ledger & Treasury activities for Worldline global locations, following Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

• Build strong relationships with the team and local business team from the Americas countries (Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Mexico, USA)
• You perform extensive accounting analysis and propose the needed actions to ensure consistency and accuracy of transactions, and internal controls implementation
• You prepare and review the accounting and treasury journal entries
• You are responsible for maintaining reporting checks files and perform continuous improvement/automation
• You collaborate when reporting with Controlling, and other teams as required
• You effectively manage the preparation and reporting of accounting and treasury transactions, as well as managing the final consolidation
• You prepare and respond to any audit requirements.

As an Accounting & Consolidation Specialist, you will be solving real business problems. You will use your accounting education to provide accurate data for your company — data that will be used in decision-making

• You ensure the integrity of the financial data
• You work in partnership with others
• You help build a strong R2R function
• With your team, you help drive your company’s success
• You deliver reliable results according to the defined deadline

Skills We Can’t Do Without

 

• Educational background in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
• 10+ years of professional experience in Finance
• 10+ years of experience working with/for Americas
• Strong knowledge of Record to Report process
• Internal Control implementation, risk analysis experience
• Relevant experience with reporting & consolidation
• Relevant experience with accounting migration
• Relevant experience in a shared service center environment
• Knowledge of working in SAP with different interfaces
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Your English, French and Spanish are at proficient level
• Your Portuguese is at business conversation level

Skills We’d Like

It would be great if you have the following skills, too:

• Exposure on Consolidation tools would be a plus (HFM, BFC, IRIS etc.)
• Lean Certification would be a plus
• Previous accounting management exposure would be a plus
• High motivation and ability to learn
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Ability to work independently & collaboratively, open-minded, and proactive attitude
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential matters
• Attention to details
