Experience: 15+ Years of progressive experience in Purchasing and Material Management roles
Education: BS or Masters / MBA Preferred. Any certifications will be an edge.
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Summary:
To lead and direct all facets of Supply Management (Planning; Material / Inventory Management; Procurement; Warehouse & Logistics). Responsible for Team building and people management. Creates a culture of service excellence, speed and reliability engrained within team. Liaison with the other supporting functions like production & sales to achieve corporate objective.
Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Direct overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.
Develop and implement strategies to ensure that critical Supply Chain processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
Direct & supervise activities of all Supply Chain functions pertaining to Purchase, planning, warehouse, logistics & control of material.
Review and implement strategies, policies, processes, and procedures that are close to international standards & optimizes value of the entire function.
Ensure management of inventory, stock of products and material are as per the forecasted needs of market & production.
Directs capacity projection, Planning & analysis & demand forecasting. Promote & ensure Cost effectiveness.
Build, manage & coach supply management Team. Recommend relevant training that helps team achieve excellence.
Provide Quality oversight to all suppliers and vendors to ensure that all incoming materials meet specifications.
Direct and oversees Warehousing and logistics operations. Works to ensure timely delivery of products or materials. Direct and manage transportation, scheduling, distribution, delivery, and other aspects of logistics operations.
