Job description / Role
We are currently seeking experienced Drilling Motor Technicians to join our team. As a Drilling Motor Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and inspecting mud motors, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of all power sections and motor components. This position follows a day shift schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, Saturday to Thursday, with on-call duties every other weekend.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Rebuild mud motors, including bearing assemblies, and conduct tool inspections.
- Respond to after-hours and weekend requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Thoroughly inspect all power sections and motor components before assembly.
- Adhere to documentation and recording procedures for all components.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area and yard during your shift.
- Send defective tools for rebuild qualifications as required.
- Participate in safety training programs determined necessary by the safety department.
Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience as a mud motor technician is highly advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills would be considered an asset.
Schedule
- Day shift: Day shift: Saturday to Thursday / Available after work hours if needed.
- Availability to work on weekends, every other weekend if needed
- For Locals, 11 months on / 1 month off.
- For Foreigns, 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off.
