About the job

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline, but English, journalism, marketing, communications, business, liberal arts or human resources are preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in similar capacity.
  • Relevant work experience in press or public relations related experience in marketing with strenght in events organizational skills.
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies including e-marketing.
  • Proven experience in customer and market research.
  • Experience with relevant software applications.
  • Experience in coordinating the production of marketing materials.
  • Articulate communication skills with excellent command of English.
  • Fluent command of Arabic language is essential.
  • Must demonstrate strong writing and editing skills.
  • Must be conversant with use and management of common social media platforms.
  • Understand and be fluent in the use of software applications, such as Word and PowerPoint and relevant marketing tools.
  • In addition to communication skills, the must demonstae time management, goal setting, problem solving and management skills.

  • Master’s degree preferably in communication or in Marketing and/or Public Relations.
  • Experience of marketing in Higher Education sector.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent management & leadership skills, good organizational and social skills.
  • Manage and work with internal and external business partners and vendors; maintain project calendar; and deliver communications within assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multi-task and set priorities; manage time efficiently with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports, releases, speeches etc.
