ROLE PURPOSE

We are looking for a full-time permanent Receptionist to join our People Operations team at Lula! As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for a range of office visitors, offering each individual a warm and professional welcome. In collaboration with the Office Coordinator and People Operations team, you will contribute towards administrative operations within Lula, ensuring exceptional service is provided to all stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Stationed at the Lula office, Monday to Fridays, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the reception area is neat and tidy at all times.
  • First point of contact for everyone entering the Lula office, ranging from visitors, contractors, building management, customers, investors, employees and candidates coming in for interviews.
  • Managing all logistics relating to hosting visitors – including setting up of meeting rooms, settling in visitors and arranging refreshments.
  • The first point of contact for incoming external requests and assisting with redirecting them to the relevant departments or team members.
  • Assisting with office tech set-up, ensuring our Zoom monitors and overhead screens are working and ready prior to investor meetings or other important external meetings.
  • Be available to assist the Office Coordinator or People Operations team with any ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Ensure the employee parking roster is kept up to date.
  • Own the delivery, management and allocation of all office supply orders and ensure that our office storage facilities are organized.
  • Escalate any employee related queries to relevant internal teams.

The Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

 

  • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
  • At least 1 year Hostess/Reception experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Zoom and Slack is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, with good spoken and written English skills.
  • Ability to time manage, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and sound numerical capabilities.
