The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit Rehabilitation Technical Supervisor (Fixed Term Project – Maternity Cover):
Job Purpose:
Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Rehabilitation Technical Supervisor will be responsible for Supervising the technical support and quality control of the rehabilitation activities, this position is the key for successful implementation of the activities by ensuring that staff’s capacities are strengthened to provide quality rehabilitation care and activities.
Major Responsibilities:
– Provide appropriate technical guidance and support specialists.
– Ensures that the project(s) activities are implemented according to internal quality and technical standards and proposes adjustments or improvements if necessary.
– Adapts project documentation as required in accordance with global technical norms and standards.
– Contributes to the regular reporting of the technical activities of its perimeter (collection and analysis of the technical data collected) in conjunction with the project team and the MEAL team.
– Ensure coordination and collaboration with the technical partners of the project as delegated by Project Manager.

– Ensures that the activities implemented comply with international technical norms and standards.
– Makes sure field technical specialists get the information they require.
– Responsible of technical learning from projects by drawing on lessons learned and good practices.
– Implements recommendations for improving the technical quality.
– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise.
Major Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy, occupational therapy or any field relevant to rehabilitation.
– (4-5) years minimum experience.
Skills & Abilities:
– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.
– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.
– Strong communication skills.
– Ability of working and understanding multicultural environments in which development and community engagement projects operate.
– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
Language Requirements:
– Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
