PROJECT ARCHITECT 15 -25 years

Description:

We are hiring an experienced and talented senior project architect. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional architectural and design expertise, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects and timelines from conception to completion. As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading design initiatives, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, leading and mentoring a team of architects and ensuring the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural solutions.

Day-to-day tasks will include architecture design and development, reviewing and red-lining documents to meet established standards, through coordinated efforts with our Florida-based offices. Skills shall include the ability to refine conceptual designs, press the design narrative through detailing knowledge and extensive knowledge of industry leading construction methods and materials. Construction Consultancy and Shop Drawing expertise is required. Construction Oversite and Consultancy in the GCC preferred. Knowledge of traditional architecture is a plus.

Essential Job Functions:

• Development of construction documents and details to fulfill the established design narratives.
• Direct junior Architects and redline construction documents for compliance and excellence
• Research products and installation methods that meet specific design and construction requirements both in the US market and abroad.
• Responsible for the successful coordination with designers, consultants, contractors, material suppliers and vendors
• Oversee and approve the team scheduling and daily production tasks.
• Provide on-going and consistent communication through team meetings/minutes/up-date memos.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 15 years of experience with all styles of architecture and construction types.
• Architecture Degree and certifications.
• Construction Consultancy and Shop Drawing Expertise.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building science, construction documentation, envelope weather and construction sequence.
• Excellent management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience producing working drawings in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
