Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic projects, including planning, scoping, budgeting, execution, and monitoring.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Facilitate post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
