Description

Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution in Jordan, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager at Bank of Jordan, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing strategic projects from initiation to successful completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet the bank’s objectives and drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic projects, including planning, scoping, budgeting, execution, and monitoring.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Facilitate post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
