The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit Senior Project Officer (Fixed Term Project):
Job Purpose:
Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the senior project officer will be responsible for coordinate the day-to-day work and follow-up with all departments to achieve the project and IFH proposed targets through reporting of activities.
Major Responsibilities:
– Following up on project volunteers’ timesheets, contracts, and incentives.
– Reviewing and following up on project staff timesheets.
– Reporting on Activity info on behalf of the project.
– Submitting the project to MOPIC on Jorris for governmental approvals.
– Submitting reports to the ministry of concern.
– Preparing the project documents to the ministries of concern for approval.
– Preparing and following up on purchase and maintenance requests with IFH’s different departments.
– Preparing and following up on supply requests from the warehouse to the field.
– Following up on transportation fees requested from the field.
– Preparing for project meetings and trainings.
– Following up with logistics and procurement departments for project requirements.
– Conducting regular field visits to the project locations.
– Following up on donor visibility in the field as per the donor regulations.
– Keeping proper documentation of the project.
– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise.
Major Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in management, or any related Field.
– (2-3) years minimum experience.
Skills & Abilities:
– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.
– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.
– Strong communication skills.
– Ability of working and understanding multicultural environments in which development and community engagement projects operate.
– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
Language Requirements:
– Excellent English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
