Position: Purchase Officer

Location: Amman, Jordan

Industry: Food & Beverage (Restaurant & Lounge)

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the purchase of all raw materials, ingredients, equipment, and supplies required for the restaurant and lounge operations.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring the best quality at competitive prices.
Regularly review supplier contracts and negotiate terms as needed.
Collaborate with the culinary and management team to understand and anticipate inventory needs.
Ensure timely delivery of goods, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring no disruptions to the restaurant operations.
Implement and manage a well-organized and efficient inventory system.
Keep up-to-date with market trends to introduce new products and innovative solutions.
Regularly analyze and assess supplier performance.
Ensure all purchases adhere to the set budget and quality standards.
Good Knowledge in preparing food & Beverage cost reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, ideally in the F&B sector.
Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
Proven record of effective supplier negotiations.
Proficient in inventory software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
