JDS is looking for a talented Information_Security_Sr_Officer to join our team. He/she will be responsible to Implementing security measures to protect sensitive information, analyzing vulnerabilities to identify potential risk, managing security incidents, conducting training programs to educate employees about security best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on the latest security trends and technologies
# Duties & Responsibilities:
* Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities
* Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
* Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure ongoing security
* Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines
* Ensure that employees are aware of and comply with security policies
* Enforce security policies through training and awareness programs
* Design, implement, and manage security architecture and frameworks
* Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools
* Ensure the integration of security measures into the organization’s IT infrastructure
* Develop and maintain an incident response plan
* Coordinate responses to security incidents and breaches
* Conduct investigations into security incidents and breaches
* Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and standards
* Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry-specific regulations
* Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits
* Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees
* Promote a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization
* Implement and manage security monitoring tools and systems
* Generate and analyze security reports to identify trends and potential issues
* Provide regular updates on the organization’s security posture to management
* Assess and manage the security posture of third-party vendors
* Ensure that vendors comply with the organization’s security requirements
* Collaborate with IT teams, senior management, and other stakeholders
* Communicate effectively about security issues, initiatives, and recommendations
* Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices
* Continually assess and enhance the organization’s security posture
# Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Security, Computer Science)
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA,ISO 27001)
Proven experience in information security management

* Strong knowledge of security technologies, standards, and best practices
* Strong communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making skills
* Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Team player with ability to perform well under pressure
* Bilingual (Arabic, and English) is a must
