King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:

Department Coordinator

Job Requirements:

  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks that support the department function.
  • Coordinate daily department activities to achieve established goals.
  • Sustain department calendar and ensure to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate and organize department related special events.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense related to management activities.
  • Prepare meeting agenda, schedule department meetings and appointments and distribute minutes of meeting.
  • Assist Manager in preparing and maintaining meeting materials, business presentations and other department files.
  • Assist Manager in scheduling conference calls and making Maintain positive working relationships with department staffs and customers.
  • Attend staff meetings and ensuring follow-up of all tasks assigned.
  • Prepare routine letters, correspondence, memos, documents and plans as requested in both Arabic and English and route them for signatures.
  • Reviews outgoing correspondence for proper format, enclosures, grammar, etc.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Receive phone calls, answers routine questions, take messages and refers other matters as appropriate.
  • Greet visitors to the office and direct visitors to the correct location.
  • Maintain electronic filing system of all documents, information, records and indices.
  • Maintain all department information confidential and secure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the supervisor.

Education and Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):

  1. Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  2. One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  3. Excellent command of oral and written English.
  4. Excellent typing skills is highly needed (Arabic and English).
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook).
  6. Excellent communication skills and Ability to work under pressure.
