The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit a Senior Human Resources Specialist (Fixed Term Contract):
Job Purpose:
Under the overall supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Senior HR Specialist will be responsible for implementing the HR activities in accordance with institute procedures and assist in all duties in HR department.
Major Responsibilities:
– Preparation and follow-up of all matters concerning new employees, including obtaining the required papers, signing employment contracts and all related matters.
– Preparation new personnel files for filing all documents relating to them and entry and verification of all data into the human resources system
– Keeping all staff records updated electronically on HR system, including personal profiles, contracts.
– Responsible for benefits program management (Health insurance).
– Data Management responsibilities, including audits of data, data correction.
– Maintain equipment and supply the internal inventory, prepare purchase request.
– Collaborating with internal and external audits and providing them with the necessary documentation
– Establishing, validating, and reviewing all employees’ job descriptions as per the institute policies and procedures.
– Managing performance evaluation after probation period and annual appraisals, in addition to coordinating with managers and employees for proper implementation of employee’s evaluations.
– Daily checking of the employee attendance list, receiving sick vacations, and entering them into the human resources system.
– Visit Clinics & Camps on a regular basis to communicate with staff in all locations and ensure that work is being done properly and that all corporate policies and procedures are being followed.
– Preparing all procedures related to the end of services for resigned employees.
– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise.
Major Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, Computer Science, or any related Field.
– (4-5) years minimum experience in Human Resources.
Skills & Abilities:
– Excellent communication skills and following up.
– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).
– Organization and planning skills.
– Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Excellent analytical skills
Language Requirements:
– Good English & Arabic communication skills (both oral and written).
