Position: Mid-Level Irrigation System Design Engineer

Engicon is seeking a skilled and experienced engineer for a challenging role in irrigation design to join our team in Amman, Jordan. The position of Mid-Level Irrigation System Design Engineer requires proficiency in WaterGEMS and LAND F/X CAD software. Key Responsibilities:

– Irrigation System Design: Lead the design of efficient irrigation systems for a variety of projects, incorporating the latest technologies and practices.
– Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess and solve hydraulic engineering challenges. Ability to troubleshoot issues in existing systems and propose effective solutions.
– Hydraulic Analysis: Apply hydraulic modeling tools to analyze water distribution, optimize irrigation efficiency, and ensure optimal water coverage. Utilize your expertise in hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS and WaterCAD) to analyze and optimize irrigation system
– AutoCAD- LAND F/X Proficiency: Apply your proficiency in AutoCAD to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of design projects and utilize your expertise in LAND F/X for drafting, designing, and detailing irrigation system plans for tertiary irrigation level.
– Team Collaborations: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, fostering positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
– Project Management Interaction: Take a lead role in managing assigned tasks within the project, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting company and client’s quality standards.
– Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
– 3 to 7 years of professional experience in irrigation system design.
– Proficiency in hydraulic analysis software such as WaterGEMS and WaterCAD.
– Previous experience in irrigation projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
– Proficient in AutoCAD and LAND F/X for detailed tertiary design.
– Strong management and organizational skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing irrigation systems design, particularly in KSA.
– Technical report writing capabilities.
– Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
