This position is based in MAF Global Solutions (GS). This is a new department which has recently been set-up for all the wholly owned subsidiaries of MAF. GS is responsible for all the transactional accounting operations of the entities including General Ledger, preparation of Financial Statements.

ROLE PROFILE

• Responsible to balance assigned inter-company accounts in an effective way
• Support internal/external audits
• Support necessary Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable activities
• Support in the closure of revenue transactions
• Monitor, manage and resolve customer queries/complaints within agreed service level, escalate to Supervisor where necessary
• Process invoice booking / payment as assigned by Process to Pay Process Lead Manager (Invoice booking)
• Monitor aging vendor aging on a monthly basis, to clear issues if any in a timely manner
• Responsible for assigned vendor account reconciliations and necessarily follow up action

Requirements

• Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience working in Finance Accounting General Ledger, Accounts Payable or Account Recevable department
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is a must
• Able to meet short deadlines
• Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
• IFRS Knowledge mainly for the R2R part.
• Analytical & Numerical skills, Attention to detail
