Title: FMCG Warehouse Keeper
Location: Amman-Abu Alanda
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as an FMCG Warehouse Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). You will work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to driver and sales rep and maintain accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive incoming shipments of FMCG products and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
2. Ensure proper storage and organization of goods within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization.
3. Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
4. Prepare orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labeling items correctly.
5. Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule deliveries and ensure timely shipment of orders.
6. Handle returns and exchanges efficiently, following company procedures and guidelines.
7. Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times.
8. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
9. Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and process improvements.
10. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding warehouse operations and issues.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
– Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.
– Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
– Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
