Sales First Line Manager

Major Responsibilities:

• Manages a team of Sales Representatives

• Coordinates the sales force to ensure the achievement of marketing objectives including delivery of appropriate messages to the appropriate

target customer groups at the required frequency and coverage,

• Ensures all members of team are trained and developed so that each individual reaches the maximum of their potential in order to achieve

business objectives,

• Monitors and reports the annual revenue expenditure budget to ensure it is managed within the relevant forecast figure,

• Contributes the development/planning of new product launches and new promotional campaigns and sales force conferences to maximize

company return within agreed expenditure budget,

• Employee relations with institutional and medical partners and opinion leaders,

Technical competencies required :

Prioritizes and schedules his/her agenda to ensure that work is completed efficiently. Highly organized in order to manage their territory and time optimally. Keep tracks about his visits and shares periodic reports to Sales Manager, Able to engage the people during the visits and creates trust. Be prepared to introduce the products by giving right message to the KOLs and influences them to maximize the sales targets,

Understands the areas of improvement of each Sales Representatives and provides necessary trainings such as on the job trainings, cycle meetings in order to support the development of the team,

Builds relationships with Opinion Leaders and Hospitals (Physicians and Medical staff) to promote the products. Knows the territory hospital infrastructure, hospital drug budgets, committees and other institutions where the company interested in,

Knows key representatives/managers in the marketplace and is able to reach them when needed,

Plans and executes joint field visits with team members to evaluate the coverage of the role/the effectiveness of the calls and implements any necessary corrective actions,

Knowledge of products’ characteristics and related disease. Is able to validate the scientific preparation of the team,

Identifies best practices and monitors the performances (coverage, frequency,productivity) of the team in terms of fulfilment of the role. Accordingly shares outcome with manager and takes necessary actions,

Knows how to adjust negotiating style by developing many tactics for different customers/situations

Knows the pricing, business models, market trends and competitors’ condition.

Updates himself/herself by following up related laws/legislations and technical literatures/publications,

Qualifications required:

Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, with experience in a similar position.
