Placement Associate

About the job
Lahore University Of Management Sciences Position Purpose

The associate is an essential position in CSO to manage the logistics related to core mandates, including job placements, higher education, industry & corporate linkages, and students’ career counselling. The incumbent will directly manage all operations related to assigned tasks and will coordinate with all stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

Employer Relations & External Linkages:

Support employer outreach activities, including maintaining employer databases of the assigned companies, communicating with employers regarding job postings and recruitment events, and coordinating employer visits.
Assist in coordinating on-campus recruiting events, career fairs, and networking events.
Collect and compile employer feedback and evaluations and provide them to the project lead for analysis.
Develop a strong network with corporate and industrial leaders by bringing them on a common platform to match Industrial requirements with students’ skill sets and explore job & internship opportunities for LUMS students.
Engage industrial & corporate partners to Organize On-Campus & Online Confluence, networking sessions, and other activities related to the department mandates. The incumbent will approach all stakeholders, schedule meetings, maintain all the records, and manage all logistical arrangements.
Schedule, lead, and become part of the Meetings with national and International corporate & industrial Partners to explore career opportunities for LUMS graduates.

Job & Internships

Ensure job placements & internships of undergraduates and graduates within and out of the country with a sharp focus on students & fresh graduates tracking and employers’ coordination & outreach
Manage & provide support to organize Recruitment & Networking Events, which include Annual Career Fair, Networking Sessions & Nights, recruitment activities, interviews, and other CSO-related events to facilitate students and employers.
Educate, and Guide partner Employers in their hiring process according to trends and behaviors of University Students.

Budget-management

Manage budget for the department in coordination with the accounts office and support team in budget tasks like raising PRs in SAP, managing records of budget, etc.
Coordinate with finance, procurement and other departments, and vendors to manage all purchasing for the department.
Ensure that all official matters of the department are handled according to the financial policies of the university.
Assist in monitoring, and expense tracking of budget, and procurement processes as directed.

Record-keeping & Office-Maintenance

Organize & maintain department-specific files and electronic data.
Assist with data entry and record-keeping and maintain confidentiality.

Student Support

Dealing with student queries about different CSO programs.
Coordinate and maintain student job postings, internship listings, and related resources via mass mail and the LUMS job portal.

To Qualify For The Role, You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences or related discipline from an HEC-recognized institute.
At least 1 year of experience in a placement office of a university, preferably in an educational or student-facing setting.

Term of contract: Contractual
