Sales Manager

About the job

The Job stakeholder serves a critical role in driving the team to meet the annual objectives and sales targets through optimizing productivity, managing the daily activities of the wood division, determining the customers’ needs for preparing the shop drawings and appropriate designs, enhancing the productivity in the showroom in addition to developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans for raising the revenue, sales achievement rates, and business opportunities and conducting the gap analysis for improvement.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Participate in setting a strategic plan with various techniques for developing the internal workflow and procedures internally and meeting the long and short terms sales targets.
  • Set SMART objectives for the wooden division in line with the departmental goals to raise productivity and lead the team to expand the customer base and exceed individual targets.
  • Conduct an analysis of the sales achievement and retention rates to identify the gaps areas and provide the best practices for raising the sales revenues and profits.
  • Identify the customers’ needs and budget for preparing the shop drawings and appropriate designs and drive the operations to submit the highest quality for them.
  • Review the designs ensuring that they will be fitted with the customers’ requirements and place measurements, moreover, provide the guideline to enhance them accordingly.
  • Asses the team’s performance based on their KPIs, coach them to enhance their weak areas, and grow in their career path.
  • Enhance the methodologies of presenting the sales point and products’ advantage to optimize the sales opportunities and raise customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for raising future business opportunities on a regular basis.
  • Lead the team to observe and identify the business needs and specifications in terms of wooden product types, measurements, dimensions, and materials through conducting meetings with the customers.
  • Conduct a strategic plan to achieve the assigned targets by providing them with the best techniques for convincing the clients and raising the sales achievement rates.
  • Identify the improvement areas for enhancing the required designs ensuring that they are fitted with the customer requirements and provide the sales team the directions for improvement.
  • Develop HAC client base through prospecting, qualifying, and approaching HAC target customers in the market along with HAC current customers to influence and assist them in applying HAC-assigned products to their needs.
  • Asses the sales team’s performance and professionalism of sales executives to determine the weak points and coach them to raise productivity and grow in their career path.
  • Identify the area of improvement for the new/ existing products based on the analytical reports for determining the gaps including bench market survey and market activities.
  • Follow up and supervise monthly/annual achievements for the showroom and coach the team to exceed the standard sales achievement rates by implementing the largest number of deals as well as meeting customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team in the merchandising process for displaying the products with a professional methodology.
  • Lead the team to establish the technical and financial proposals to be submitted to the customers and raise the engagement rates.
  • Raise customers’ awareness of HAC’s other services and products to increase cross-selling opportunities.
  • Set the timeframe for each project as per the client’s requirements in terms of submitting the designs and beginning the fabrication processes if needed.
  • Participate in providing inputs that might lead to the development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and techniques for developing and upgrading the designs in line with customer inputs.
  • Revise the issued quotations based on the quantity of the products and services that will be required from the customer side.
  • Review the measurement of designs ensuring its correction and accuracy to reduce the error rates in a timely manner.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, commerce, interior design, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a sales manager or supervisor in the kitchen design field and sales industries.
  • Strong analytical skills to determine achievement and retention rates and conduct an action plan accordingly.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and upper management.
  • Excellent innovative skills with the ability to propose new ideas for improvement.
