Overview:

Naouri Group is looking for a shipping Line Manager responsible for overseeing a shipping line’s operations and management. This includes working with customers to understand their shipping needs, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics, and managing the day-to-day operations of the shipping line.

Responsibilities:

– Developing and implementing strategies to increase business and revenue for the shipping line

– Building and maintaining relationships with customers, freight forwarders, and other partners

– Negotiating rates and contracts with shipping partners and vendors

– Managing the scheduling and routing of ships and cargo

– Monitoring and analyzing market trends to stay competitive

– Ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws related to shipping operations

– Supervising and managing a team of shipping line employees

– Identifying and troubleshooting any operational issues that arise

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field

– 10+ years of experience in shipping line management or operations

– Strong leadership and management skills

– Excellent communication and negotiation skills

– Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management

– Knowledge of international trade regulations and laws

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
