Role Overview: Ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls leading a talented team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance audit practices and uphold industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute comprehensive audits to assess internal controls, procedures, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement audit plans that align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to management based on audit findings, contributing to informed decision-making.
• Manage and mentor a team of audit professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
• Stay current with developments in IFRS 17 and relevant industry standards to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Demonstrate strong project management, interpersonal, and report-writing skills in all aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Professional qualification of CPA or CIA or equivalent.
• 10+ years of solid experience in Insurance operations, risk, and control, preferably in roles involving auditing, and internal control.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, standards, and market practices, along with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in IFRS 17 and its implications for the insurance industry.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Thorough knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and general policies.
